We're fundraising for all babies & children diagnosed with Neuroblastoma
In 2011, our daughter Bella was 20 months old when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 intermediate risk Neuroblastoma. Bella was extremely unwell and endured chemotherapy, major surgery and dozens of medical procedures, blood transfusions etc…but was given a good prognosis.
12 years later Bella is a typical teenager in every way other than the fact she still lives with this cancerous tumour in her abdomen. She is now monitored yearly and the tumour remains stable and unchanged since her 2011 surgery.
Every year we take part in Run2Cure Neuroblastoma. Run2Cure is a charity fun run and raises funds for the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.
So in addition to our own goal, I want to make a difference to the young children affected. If you are able to make a donation, be it a few dollars or more, we would be very grateful.
