I'm fundraising for...

I have set myself a personal challenge for 2024 and am taking part in Run2Cure Neuroblastoma. Run2Cure is a charity fun run and raises funds for the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.


Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.


So in addition to my own goal, I want to make a difference to the young children affected. If you are able to make a donation, be it a few dollars or more, I would be very grateful.

Motivation to Run

Tuesday 5th Mar
I just didn't expect this. Tonight I signed up my daughter to run with me. We uploaded a couple of photos and sent links around.

I started running as a way to get a bit healthier and signed up for a fun run just to motivate myself to keep to the program, then I told my friends and co-workers so that I would force myself not to quit. Soon people started to care, and donate, which I didn’t expect to happen. Now a whole community is a bit better. The money goes to cure Neuroblastoma, my friends reveal themselves as givers, my daughters are learning about giving and working towards a goal with me, and selfish me, I might get fitter and I get to keep all the encouragement! I am so humbled… tomorrow is a running day.
